Mike McLean
Panelist: Mike is general manager Cyber and InfoSec at Optic Security Group. Mike started out as a system engineer and programmer before moving into security roles specialising in cybersecurity working for large corporations and multinationals, as well as working as an independent security consultant.
At Optic Security Group, Mike develops strategy, roadmaps, and manages projects and programs to deliver security infrastructures and teams to protect people, assets and information. He believes that security convergence has already seen the lines blurred between traditional IT security, cyber, physical, IoT and industrial control systems and is only just starting to gain momentum. He holds the following qualifications: CISSP, ISSAP, PMP, Octave (Allegro).
Cyber threats continue to evolve as fast as technology changes and it is now difficult to find an industry sector, technology or organisation that is immune to cyber risks.
Because cyber means are being used to achieve an increasing array of nefarious outcomes all over the world, it is important to understand how you might mitigate the complexity of converged security within physical and digital infrastructure.
In this panel discussion hosted by Optic Security Group, cybersecurity industry experts will provide practical steps for how to secure critical infrastructure, which is increasingly reliant on systems and technology.
